Pediatric Occupational Therapy

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist helps design a program for the child to reach his/her maximum potential concerning independence in all activities, e.g., Self-help skills, feeding, and dressing. The therapist tailors a treatment program unique to every child if a child is struggling to carry out specific tasks. In special circumstances, they would also visit an individual childs home/school environment to understand the adaptations child would need to help them with activities of daily living.
